Les Poses was born from something extremely simple: love. For photography, and between the two of us, Veronica and Michele. Veronica, always passionate about macro and detail; Michele, camera in hand since he was six years old, today an expert in event photography, studio portraiture, and fine printing.
Photography is about capturing unrepeatable moments: it's the story of a grandfather who, in front of a fireplace, eyes glistening and heart pounding, tells his grandson, curled up on his lap, of times gone by. And every story, once envisioned, can become a fine art print.
There is also a story that goes back further, the one with Paolo of FotoBertini in Viareggio. We met in the late 1990s: I was a scientific-lyceum student, encouraged by Professor Anichini to enter a photography competition which I went on to win; Paolo, a second-generation photo-shop owner, was among those promoting that same competition. The bond began lightly, over a camera and a roll of film, and grew over the years into something more than friendship. Today Les Poses and FotoBertini are sister companies, working side by side to always give the client the best possible image.
For us, printing is an extremely serious matter. Whether it's a thermal print or an inkjet print, we work to always give our best. We manually profile every product for faithful colour reproduction, and we print using software built in-house to manage the colour pipeline with advanced, highly professional criteria.
